OverviewCampbell Commons is a CHIP-built and managed 55 studio complex for 1-person households only. Amenities include an on-site manager, two community rooms (one with TV viewing and reading area and the other with pool table and snack machines), monthly potluck social for our tenants. The complex is located in downtown Chico within walking distance to all downtown events and the farmers markets. Section 8 vouchers accepted. History
Provided furnishings1 extra long twin bed with 3 drawers underneath Rent$292 per month. A $584 security deposit is required. Water and garbage fees are included. Resident is responsible for gas and electric thru PG&E. Phone and cable hook-ups are provided and are the responsibility of the resident if they wish these services. Campbell Commons was built in 1995. It was named after Kevin Campbell, one of the founding fathers of Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP). His dream was for low-income people to have decent, safe, and affordable housing and continues to be a vision shared by CHIP today.
